New Year's Resolutions

Ten things I hope to do in 2010-

1- Grow a garden
I've been talking about it for years; now is the time for action.

2- Lose the baby weight
Generic, I know, but necessary.

3- Start a scrapbook for my kids
Addison is almost 4 years old for goodness sake!

4- Read 100 books
Not counting the millions of picture books I read to my kids.

5- Get my family to eat more fruits and veggies
(Perhaps the government recommended 5 a day for starters?)
We're carb-a-holics and that needs to change. Maybe the garden will help.

6- Host a social gathering (party/dinner/movie night) for someone other than my family
Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but it's about time I made some friends too.

7- Take a risk/try something new
Not a different entree at my favorite restaurant, something cool like surfing or white water rafting or hiking the Grand Canyon rim to rim.

8- Submit a piece of writing for publication
Not a novel or anything, maybe just a story for a magazine.

9- Sell something on Craig's List
Never done it, but I've got plenty of stuff to get rid of, so why not try to make some dough before carting it off to DI?

Which should help with...

10- Find a place for everything
Remember how I am highly disorganized?

So now you know what I will be working on this year. You can hold me accountable and maybe offer some support? What are your resolutions?

  2. If you find some good books, send them over. Read Agatha Christie. She's amusing AND it counts as classic literature (I think, anyway).
By the way, you have to help me with the baby weight. We should start a "Get Fit" chart. (does the City still do that?!)

  3. We need to do more with others beside family, too...not that we also don't love the fam, but we need to branch out more and get to know our ward, ect. Oh, by the way, I made an alphabet and number book for Aidan and Emma!!! I am really excited about it, and hope they like it :)

Let me know if you want any of my biggest loser DVD's. The cardio and power sculpt are pretty good!
