Six Going on Eternity

Six years ago today Keith and I got married. As you can tell by the fact that I am blogging, we're really into celebrating. Anyhow, things I remember about that day are:

1- Getting made fun of by the sealer for being so nervous. Hey, this is eternity we are talking about. Can't I be a little bit anxious about making the right decision? Especially when close friends had recently witnessed a couple fall apart at the altar, in the temple?

2- Keith being extremely ticked off about the car getting decorated. Apparently that is super disrespectful where he comes from. My dad told me later he had never seen Keith so peeved and wondered if we had any kind of wedding night at all.

3- Going out to dinner at Black Angus in our pajamas. Luckily they weren't that busy and nobody gave us any grief. (We had our reception the night before the wedding, so as soon as we were done with the family lunch, we were out of there!)

And now on to the photo history...(sorry I am totally stealing this from you Camille, but I thought your pictures were so fun to look at that I just had to do it!)

  1. Ha! Birch was so ticked about our car being decorated too. It started raining after we drove away so the mess dripped all down the sides of the car. Nice romantic memories.

  2. Congrats! If it makes you feel better, we felt REALLY bad about making Keith so mad. We wOndered if you two would be speaking to us ever again!

  3. Congratulations! Clifton got so mad too! They not only decorated our car, but filled the car with little balloons so we couldn't leave until we popped enough to squeeze in. We didn't even want to stay for the luncheon so we did NOT want to stay in the parking lot and pop balloons!!!
